FOUR BAGUIO GROUPS GET LIVELIHOOD GRANTS

BAGUIO CITY: The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has provided livelihood grants to four barangay associations here. Purok 3 Gibraltar Livelihood Organization, Cabinet Hill-Teachers Camp Women’s Club Inc., Andres Bonifacio Barangay Women’s Organization and Barangay Sto. Niño Livelihood Entrepreneurs Association will receive a   P1.49 million grant under DOLE’s Integrated Livelihood Program towards Community Enterprise Development which aims to alleviate poverty in the countryside by generating community livelihood and employment. Other approved livelihood grants for the first quarter of the year are  for community enterprises in Manabo, Abra (P770,000), Conner and Luna Apayao (P1.2 million), Itogon, Benguet (P1.74 million) and Tabuk City and Tanudan in Kalinga (P1.11 million).
