The husband of Filipino actress Francine Prieto was barred from entering the Philippines for being an undesirable alien.
Frank Arthur Shotkoski, 56, a US passport holder, has just arrived from Singapore on board Philippine Airlines (PAL) flight PR 152 at 11:49 a.m. on June 24 when immigration personnel at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) issued an exclusion order against him.
NAIA terminal 2 BI head supervisor Dennis Robles said the American was visibly irked for no apparent reason. Shotkoski started cursing people, especially the immigration officers, when he disembarked.
For being disrespectful and rude, Shotkoski was flown back to Singapore on the next available flight of PAL on Sunday morning.
“We decided to put him back on the next available flight last Sunday morning and place his name on the bureau’s blacklist so he can never enter the country again unless he will ask for forgiveness with our commissioner,” said BI Port Operations chief Marc Red Marinas.
Shotkoski, a biologist, married Francine in a simple ceremony attended by family and friends in Italy last year.
The BI stepped up its security at the NAIA by putting up cameras in every immigration counter to photograph departing and arriving local and foreign passengers as well as foreign pilots and cabin crew as part of the intensified campaign against terrorism.
International passengers with derogatory records will be deported immediately.
