BOKOD, Benguet: SN Aboitiz Power (SNAP) Group teamed up with the Black Pencil Project to distribute school supplies to students and teachers in Benguet and Ifugao schools. SNAP volunteer employees from Ambuklao’s Hydroelectric Power Plant (HEPP) handed over 102 packs to students from kinder to Grade 6 at Kawal Elementary School in Bobok-Bisal, Bokod, Benguet while employees from Binga-HEPP gave out 53 packs to Botic Elementary School in Itogon. In Ifugao, Magat HEPP employees distributed 380 packs to students of Ubao Elementary School in Aguinaldo town. The packs for teachers include chalk, blackboard erasers, pens and pencil sharpeners. The Black Pencil Project is a grassroots volunteer organization that helps provide basic school supplies through resource mobilization to public elementary schools in remote barangays across the country.
