BORACAY, Aklan: Free trade agreements do make a difference in boosting exports,according to an APEC Policy Support Unit report that was submitted to Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation trade ministers at a meeting in Boracay, Aklan over the weekend.
According to the report, the number of regional and bilateral free trade agreements (FTAs) in the Asia-Pacific region has multiplied since the 1990s, with APEC members among the most active economies in negotiating FTAs.
