The trend today in the real estate industry for top players and pace setters is to establish communities, and not just build homes.
One of the real estate companies in the Philippines that has evolved into a developer of communities is the Property Company of Friends Inc. (PRO-FRIENDS), which is marking its 15th or crystal year in the property industry.
PRO-FRIENDS said that it has been consistent in its mission, which is to be a trusted developer in building homes and communities.
“Through the years, PRO-FRIENDS has evolved from building small housing developments to establishing a 1,000-hectare community and other major estate developments, mostly located in Cavite,” said Richard Tay, the property firm’s vice president for Sales and Marketing.
PRO-FRIENDS has completed 15 successful communities and has 11 ongoing projects including Parc Regency Greens, a nature-inspired community, first of its kind in Iloilo; and Ilustrata Residences, PRO-FRIENDS’ first vertical property development set amid the New Manila and Greenhills area.
Aside from Iloilo, PRO-FRIENDS has expanded its footprint to Northern Luzon with the Palms Lakeshore in Pampanga.
More than just a home
Most of the projects of PRO-FRIENDS offer amenities ranging from clubhouses with swimming pools to multipurpose halls. The company claims that it is the first to introduce the linear park and family courtyard – open spaces for families to enjoy picnics, games and other recreational bonding activities.
A good example of the “complete community” concept of PRO-FRIENDS is the company’s flagship project in Cavite, Lancaster New City. Among the amenities in the community are: the Leighton Hall, a multipurpose hall where parties can be hosted; Church of the Holy Family, where masses can be held weekly; St. Edward’s Integrated School (SEIS), where residents can give their children quality education right within the neighborhood; Lancaster Square, a six- hectare commercial complex for the residents’ and guests’ shopping and dining pleasure; and the first information technology business park to house business process outsource companies.
Other amenities include a swimming pool, multipurpose courts, and soon to be constructed pocket amenities inside the villages for the residents’ use.
PRO-FRIENDS is also a unique in the industry, because it has a program to transform the lives of the people within and outside their communities through its Corporate Communication campaigns. As part of that campaign, the property firm conducts seminars about livelihood, arts, emergency preparedness, and waste management to educate the homeowners and promote camaraderie.
Also, early this year, PRO-FRIENDS kicked off its crystal year with “Run For E-learning” dedicated to sponsor e-learning facilities for schools, and “Pro-Friends Ka Rin Ba?” an online video contest with a house and lot prize for the grand winner.
“PRO-FRIENDS continues to take part in community building as it continues to organize activities like these, opening doors of possibilities for the Filipino people,” Tay said.
