• Fugitive nabbed in Negros Oriental


    A 50-YEAR-OLD man, long wanted by law for killing one and wounded two others was arrested by operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in a remote village in Negros Oriental. CIDG Spokesperson, Chief Insp. Elizabeth Jasmin, said Michael Sorabillo was collared in Brgy. Poblacion, Amlan town, six years after he went into hiding for the killing of one Philamer Pepito and the wounding of Jayboy Damana and Ramil Sususco sometime in February 2009 in Catmon, Cebu. CIDG operatives also seized from his possession were one .45 caliber pistol and fully loaded magazine during his arrest.
