The first of the series was on display in November 2015 and was solely comprised of paintings of Jesus and Mary and saints of the Catholic Church. This time, the awe-inspiring works of Filipino Masters bring together a collection of intricate sculptures of religious icons by National Artist Guillermo Tolentino, Isabelo Tampinco, Anastacio Caedo, Graciano Nepumoceno.

The Galeria exhibit will be the first time the sculptured works of art will be displayed outside the National Museum. Many of the pieces have been out of circulation for more than half a century, and will only be on view and available for sale for a limited time.

Galeria de las Islas is located on the third floor of Silahis Center, 744 Gen. Luna St., Intramuros, Manila. The Magnificent Master’s Collection II will be on view until April 1.
