Oil companies will cut the pump prices of gasoline by 15 centavos per liter but increase the cost of diesel by 15 centavos per liter Tuesday.
Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp., the local subsidiary of energy giant Royal Dutch Shell, will adjust its prices at 6 a.m.
Phoenix Petroleum, Eastern Petroleum, Flying V, PTT Philippines, Seaoil, and Unioil will implement the same price adjustments.
The price of kerosene remains unchanged.
Based on Department of Energy (DOE) data, as of May 31, total year-to-date adjustments rose to P3.37 per liter for gasoline and P5.18 per liter for diesel.
