IN a bid to bolster its sales, Auto China Inc., official importer and distributor of Geely in the Philippines, has entered into a partnership that expands its selling and distribution network across the country—particularly in the Visayas and Mindanao.
Auto China signed a deal with D’ Limitless Vehicle Venture of Cebu and NIS Geely Davao,
with both companies starting to sell Geely vehicles immediately.
Auto China General Manager Glenn Tacardon said that the new dealerships are in Metro Cebu and Metro Davao, and are not only engaged in vehicle sales but are also offering repair and maintenance services, as well as accessories.
According to Tacardon, the move is the the company’s springboard to expand and increase sales for its vehicles.
“This is a major part of our strategic planning for 2013, and will continue the expansion to significant markets across the country,” Tacardon said, adding that Auto China is committed to its customers and stakeholders to provide “consistent and reliable products.”
The opening of the new dealerships proves this commitment, the Geely executive said.
“Regardless of the odds we face every day, we shall stay focus and committed just to show that the brand does not comply to the usual norms of negative product perception,” Tacardon said, apparently referring to the poor image of China-made cars. “We shall do our best to transcend the prevailing belief and create a new one, which is what we at Auto China embodies from the very beginning of our operation.”
