Geisler-Matos URCC fight end in draw

Fans were totally disappointed when the grudge mixed martial arts (MMA) match organized by the Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC) between actors Baron Geisler and Kiko Matos on Saturday ended in a draw at the Valkyrie in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.

Matos dominated Geisler hammering him with crisp punches.

He turned out to be the aggressor at the end of first round, but couldn’t finish off Geisler as he gasped for air.

Geisler dropped on the floor after being hit by Matos’ successive punches.

Geisler didn’t give up as he showed some pride in the second round locking up the indie film actor with a choke and a couple of kicks.

At the end of the fight, the referee declared it as a 19-all unanimous draw.

The fans then started shouting ‘one more round.’

Geisler even asked the fans “are you not entertained?”

The crowd responded ‘No!’

Both actors have already settled their difference after the fight.

No cheap shots and no thrash talking this time.

Geisler and Matos engaged to a recent bar brawl before URCC founder and president Alvin Aguilar stepped in to settle their difference in a right manner by fighting inside the cage in a professional-amateur rules.

Meanwhile, URCC light heavyweight champion Chris Hoffman crushed Arvin Chan via technical knockout in the second round to keep the title, while MJ Abrillo forced Eddie Estrada to a submission via rear naked choke in round one.

John Adajar beat Jericho Tomagan via technical knockout in the first round.
