The sun and the stars aligned for a good cause at the SunPIOLOGy Sunset Color Run and Star Magic Gives Back event at the Bonifacio Global City on November 23 to raise funds for education, and aid the survivors of typhoon Yolanda and the Bohol earthquake.
A marathon and a mini-concert in one, Sun Life ambassador and Star Magic artist Piolo Pascual led more than 2,500 runners and celebrities on their feet, making this annual marathon the most successful to date.
“SunPIOLOgy has come a long way, helping more and more scholars every year while exploring meaningful collaborations along the way, such as this one with my Star Magic family. This year proved to be our biggest contribution yet, and I look forward to even brighter and grander offerings in the future,” promised Piolo, who organized the Hebreo Foundation and Star Magic Gives Back project.
Piolo, together with fellow Star Magic artist Bea Alonzo, Sun Life Asia Kevin Strain and Sun Life Philippine president and CEO Riza Mantaring turned over a Sunlife check worth P750,000 to Sagip Kapamilya director Tina Monzon-Palma during the event.

Everyone geared up in their sporty outfits and endured the rain to support a good cause.
