• GenSan NBI applicants slam poor service


    Applicants for clearance from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in General Santos City complained that the agency violates its own procedure by giving priority to walk-in applications instead of those with online appointment. Apolicarpio Abadinas, a civil engineer who applied online for NBI reserved slot said he and 30 other applicants on a daily basis experienced such inconvenience and inefficient service from GenSan NBI personnel. He claimed NBI clearance applications were routed at the NBI office but they were forced to wait for three days before they could be accommodated. This was confirmed by Porferio Manalastas who operates an online business for NBI clearance applicantion.
