George to make season debut Sunday in Pacers’ playoff push

INDIANAPOLIS: Indiana’s All-Star guard Paul George will make his NBA season debut on Sunday (Monday in Manila), just in time to boost the Pacers’ last-gasp playoff push. George has missed the entire season after breaking his right leg in a horrifying accident during a training game in August with the United States team that would go on to win last year’s Basketball World Cup. The 24-year-old suffered an open fracture of the tibia and fibula in his right leg after colliding with James Harden, his leg buckling near the basket stanchion.
