Expect a better and bigger Little Miss Solane 2014 as the country’s top LPG solutions provider, Solane, teams up with the organizers of Mrs. Philippines-Globe in search for the most adorable and talented Filipino kids ages 6 to 10 years old and teenagers between 11 to 14 years old.

The recent renewal of partnership was led by Isla LPG Corp. chief operations officer Ramon Del Rosario and Mrs. Philippines-Globe National Pageant Director Morena Carla Cabrera-Quimpo.

Little Miss Solane aims to make the journey of these young misses towards self discovery more meaningful, and at the same time, develop their inner gifts and potentials. On its second year, Little Miss Solane will thoroughly search the country by holding screenings and regional pageant competitions in key cities and provinces. Out of all the applicants, pageant officials will choose 12 finalists per category who will represent their region in the national pageant night.

Little Miss Solane is not just any ordinary pageant. It is a platform for these young misses to develop and harness their potentials, thereby empowering them to become talented and successful women in the future.

Meanwhile, MasterCard makes priceless family escapades possible for popular cager LA Tenorio and former seaman Jesus Montie—with its Cross-Border Raffle Promotion. LA and Jesus both earned a raffle entry automatically after spending US $50 in a single overseas transaction on their MasterCard card.

In a luncheon held for the winners at Felix Restaurant in Greenbelt, both shared that they are grateful for their purchases which gave them a sweet chance for family bonding and an exclusive VIP experience.

Basketball player LA Tenorio snagged a MasterCard Priceless Holiday package for four to Toronto. He plans to take the trip by summer next year, after his wife Chesca gives birth to their second son.

The Cross-Border Raffle Promotion’s Toronto package includes breakfast on an exclusive sailboat overlooking the city skyline, a six-course tasting dinner from a Michelin Star chef at the Café Boulud, and a breathtaking private helicopter tour over Niagara Falls followed by dinner and wine tasting. “We’re really looking forward to it. It will be like our honeymoon since we never had the opportunity to travel because of our tight work schedules,” shared LA, who got married in 2010.

Winning was also a most pleasant surprise for Jesus, whose family had never traveled together yet. Jesus won after using their EastWest Bank MasterCard to pay $68 as room reservation fee for their layover in Cambodia. The reward: a priceless MasterCard holiday to Singapore for four, which began with the luxury of flying business class with Philippines Airlines.

The experience is indeed “super special”, described Linda, adding, “From the airport, we felt like VIPs. We also had two private cars waiting to ferry us to and from our hotel.”

In addition, their MasterCard Priceless Holiday package consisted of a VIP tour and lunch at Resorts World Sentosa Singapore, a premier sky dining experience with magnificent views atop the Singapore Flyer, and access to Singapore’s best entertainment shows. Jesus also reveals that his daughters had the time of their lives at the Universal Studios Singapore and enjoyed luxury accommodations at the Fullerton Hotel, a guided VIP tour of Singapore’s famous landmarks and VIP seats at the MasterCard.
