DAMAGE caused by Typhoon Glenda to infrastructure and agriculture has already reached the P10 billion mark, the latest report the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said on Saturday.
The Ndrrmc said damage to infrastructure such as roads and bridges was placed at around P1. 613 billion and damage to crops and fisheries was pegged at P9.187 billion.
The report added that the number of people killed by Typhoon Glenda rose to 98 with 630 people injured and five missing in regions affected by the typhoon.
The howler also affected a total of 887, 391 families or 4, 002, 987 persons and damaging or destroying 497, 276 houses.
