The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said the number of deaths rose to 20 while 505,000 people were affected in Luzon and the Visayas due to strong winds, waves and rains spawned by Typhoon "Glenda”.

In its report on Wednesday evening, NDRRMC said death toll was recorded with, 10 in Region 4-A or Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon), five in Region 4-B or Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan), two in Region 3 or Central Luzon, two in Region 5 or Bicol Region and one in Region 8 (Eastern Visayas).
