• Global hosts Myanmar in AFC Cup

Defending United Football League champions Global FC will be holding their second home match in the Asian Football Confederation Cup at the new Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan on April 15.

The game will be a historic feat in the club’s history as they are set to host the first international match at the new high-class 25,000-seat stadium.

Consequently, the team is scheduled to protect their new home turf against visitors Burmese side Ya-danarbon FC for their second meeting in the prestigious continental club football tilt, the first of which ended against their favor, 0-2.

Global FC, the last remaining Filipino club in the cup, is housed in Group G together with Hong Kong’s South China AA, Pahang FA of Malaysia and YadanarbonFC and is still on the hunt to clinch their first ever win in the competition.
