GENEVA: Global unemployment rose in 2015 and is expected to worsen further over the next two years, the International Labor Organization (ILO) said on Tuesday (Wednesday in Manila), citing downturns in key emerging economies.

In a new report, the ILO estimated that 197.1 million working-age people were unemployed in 2015, an uptick of 0.7 percent compared to 2014 figures.
