GMA Network further intensifies daytime viewing as it launches “Fully Loaded Afternoon” this June, coinciding with the first anniversary of its afternoon strip.
“Fully Loaded Afternoon” features the formidable line-up of top-notch programs Alisto, Tunay na Buhay, Powerhouse, Reporter’s Notebook, and Love Hotline, which are set to deliver more information and inspiration from Monday to Friday at 4:50 p.m.
The time slot kicks off with the public service program Alisto every Monday. Bannered by GMA News pillar Arnold Clavio, Alisto continues to encourage viewers to always be on the alert with practical tips on how to handle various situations. The program will also feature network personalities immersing themselves in the program’s various missions.
Every Tuesday, the award-winning bio-documentary program Tunay na Buhay probes into the most personal and private lives of its subjects—visiting their homes, work places and old haunts to meeting their family members and friends—to get a glimpse of their childhood and struggling years. Hosted by Rhea Santos, Tunay na Buhay believes everyone has a story to tell and that every story has a lesson etched in one’s heart and mind.
Powerhouse then takes on the timeslot every Wednesday as it steps inside the stunning homes of the country’s rich and famous. Award-winning host Kara David unravels the inspiring stories of these high-profile personalities in light-hearted tête-á-tétes that reveal their secrets to success.
The multi-awarded tandem of Jiggy Manicad and Maki Pulido continues to take a closer look at some of the country’s most pressing issues in the investigative news magazine show Reporter’s Notebook. Airing every Thursday, the show is now on its 10th year, and has just won the Bronze World Medal in this year’s New York Festival.
Finally, expect more lessons in matters of the heart in Love Hotline every Friday. Love Hotline deals with the tough struggles faced by different people who find themselves trapped in troubled relationships filled with deceit, betrayal and even violence. Every conflict featured in the show is unraveled through a dramatization featuring GMA stars, and resolved through an intervention with the help of a professional love expert and program host, Jean Garcia.
