GMA Network’s Entertainment Group held a small gathering on March 12 to unveil its latest shows for the summer season. Following a well-received omnibus plug earlier in the week, the executives, led by senior vice president of Entertainment TV, talked about the “faith-serye” Pari ‘Koy, the romantic drama Let The Love Begin, and the intriguing soap opera The Rich Man’s Daughter to initially heat up GMA’s prime time block.

The family-centered series Pari ‘Koy, which had a strong premiere and first week since March 9, stars Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes as an unconventional priest known for his non-traditional ways of bringing people closer to God. Also in the cast are Sunshine Dizon, Gabby Eigenmann, Chanda Romero, Jillian Ward, Luz Valdez, Dexter Doria, and Rap Fernandez, among many others.

The network’s fastest rising love team Ruru Madrid and Gabbi Garcia, meanwhile will topbill the romantic drama, Let the Love Begin. The program is all set to make viewers laugh, cry and fall in love as it presents a beautiful story of two individuals who will share a special friendship to stand the test of time.

Last but certainly not least, The Rich Man’s Daughter starring Primetime Queen Marian Rivera in the title role will also begin this summer. Marian will take on the challenging role of Jade Tanchingco, an heiress from a very wealthy family, whose father will pay millions to any man who can make her fall in love with him. Joining Marian in the cast are Glaiza de Castro, Katrina Halili and Luis Alandy. The series also stars Paolo Contis, Mike Tan, Pauleen Luna, TJ Trinidad, Sheena Halili, Charee Pineda together with Al Tantay, Glydel Mercado, Tony Mabesa, and Gloria Romero.

The premiere dates for Let the Love Begin and The Rich Man’s Daughter are yet to be announced.
