    1. Gonz and I were on the same ADB/UN team in 1993 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and we worked closely together for almost two months. He was a brilliant economist and National Accountant and his contribution to the Cambodia’s National Statistics Office was invaluable. Like all good teachers, he was passionate about his work. We will all miss his knowledge about economics and National Accounts but more importantly, we will miss his wonderful friendship. We will also grieve with his family.
