Sulu: Team PNoy leader and Gov. Sakur Tan of Sulu shrugged off the black propaganda allegedly perpetrated by his political foes after a purported copy of a resolution issued by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) disqualifying him to run in the local and national polls was circulated.
Tan said that, the black propaganda against him was a desperate move by his opponents.
Commissioners of the Comelec purportedly signed the resolution, dated May 9.
However, the commissioners cited in the resolution were all retired.
The resolution stated that, Tan was disqualified to run in the elections because he failed to file his certificate of candidacy on time.
It also ordered the arrest of Tan for unspecified charges.
The Comelec has already denied the existence of such resolution.
Tan, who got a copy of the resolution, said he handed it over to authorities to investigate who were behind the circulation of the resolution.
