Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation (TMP) recently held the 10th Dealer Environment, Safety and Health (DESH) Conference as part of Toyota’s global celebration of the Environment Month. This year, 48 Toyota Dealers participated in the DESH Conference where they discussed providing better services by improving environmental performance, as well as enhancing safety and health practices in their respective operations.
Twenty-seven Toyota dealers were given the Toyota DESH Excellence Award for achieving 100-percent compliance with the Dealer Environmental Management System (DEMS) and Dealer Safety Management System (DSMS) in 2015. TMP president Satoru Suzuki lauded the entire dealer network for achieving 100-percent compliance with Toyota Motor Corporation’s Dealer Environmental Risk Audit Program (DERAP) for five consecutive years, and for continually adopting environment-friendly and energy-efficient technologies in their respective operations and facilities. Suzuki also reminded everyone to achieve a Zero Accident Workplace as safety is still Toyota’s top priority. TMP also celebrates Safety Month every July to promote a safety culture among its Team Members.
