• Grenade blast in North Cotabato wounds 4

    KIDAPAWAN CITY: At least four people were wounded in a grenade explosion in Kabacan town, North Cotabato, Friday night.

    The grenade went off at around 7:30 p.m. in the house of a Citizens Armed Forces Geographical Unit (CAFGU) member in Rizal Avenue, Kabacan, the police said.

    Wounded were CAFGU member Eddie Antolino, his 9-year-old son Drazer Ezekiel, and his parents-in-law Benjami Ferrer, 68, and Lucena Ferrer, 60.

    North Cotabato police chief Danny Peralta said the blast could be related to the recent string of bombings launched by terrorist groups in Mindanao.
