Young and fast rising signers Hannah Nolasco and Morissette bagged the Best New Female Recording Artist of the Year at the PMPC Star Awards for Music.

Hannah’s successful won for her debut album Peksman, and Morisette for her self-titled freshman album.

Briefly sitting down with Hannah after the awards night at the Kia Theater on November 11, the 17-year-old gushed that the award was a dream come true.

Hannah describes her album to be just like her, “gentle yet strong, fun loving and determined.” Gifted with the talent to narrate her personal experiences through song, the artist explained, “I wanted to capture these years of my life in an album while they still represented what I was going through.”

She added, “I never choose a song that I can’t relate to in some way, shape, or form. My music will always reflect who I am and what I believe in.”

Hannah is currently a student at San Beda Alabang.
