ATLANTA: Al Horford’s putback layup with 1.9 seconds left lifted the Atlanta Hawks to an 82-81 victory over Washington on Wednesday (Thursday in Manila) and within one win of advancing in the NBA playoffs.
The Hawks, the top seeds in the Eastern Conference, now lead the best-of-seven second-round series three games to two.
