Haye to give percent of ticket sales to Blackwell

LONDON: British heavyweight boxer David Haye will donate 10 percent of the ticket sales from the second fight of his comeback to stricken middleweight Nick Blackwell, he announced on Wednesday (Thursday in Manila). Blackwell, 25, has been in an induced coma since collapsing at the end of his British middleweight title defeat by Chris Eubank Jr on Saturday. Haye will fight unheralded Kosovan Arnold Gjergjaj at London’s O2 Arena on May 21 in his second fight since coming out of retirement and revealed that a portion of the money raised by ticket sales will go to Blackwell.
