High Meralco rates: Elite capture of the legislature

This article of Mr. Tiglao is an eye-opener as we now know why Meralco and ERC are doing what they’re doing now…together. I just hope our esteemed SC justices are aware of this and will ask the right questions, and if they don’t get the right answers should strike down the power hikes. At any rate, Meralco’s announced and expected profit of 17B would not be affected even if the power hikes is strike down by the SC as illegal.
