Hino Motors Philippines (HMP), the exclusive distributor of Hino trucks and buses in the country, has supplied 10 units of its W342L light-duty truck and 8 units of its SS2P heavy-duty 10-wheeler tractor truck chassis to a global freight and forwarding company called Inland Corporation. Present during the turnover event in Canlubang, Laguna, were HMP chairman Vicente Mills Jr. and HMP president Hiroshi Aoki, who handed the vehicles to Inland president Ma. Teresa Antonio and Inland SVP Alfredo Gomez.
“We are confident in our capability to support Inland Corporation’s logistic needs and business growth targets,” Mills said. “Total support is our mantra, and we are committed to delivering this promise to our clients.”
By leveraging on HMP’s trucking expertise, Inland Corporation will be able to enhance its service capabilities in fulfilling new demands and discovering innovative solutions for the transport business.
“We will continue to upgrade our fleet and explore more services in line with movement of merchandise for production from plant to plant,” Antonio guaranteed. “We are banking on Hino’s product and service expertise to increase our local reach.”
HMP is said to be gearing to supply 150 trucks to Inland Corporation as part of the latter’s 2017 re-fleeting program.
