For the second year in a row, cable channel History will bring its biggest personalities to lead the return of its entertainment convention to Manila.
Dubbed “History Con 2017,” the four-day event will see the likes of biker chick and “Ride ‘N Seek” host Jamie Dempsey, “Forged in Fire” finalist and fellow Filipino Ryu Lim, “Counting Cars’” talented airbrush artist Horny Mike, and “Photo Face-Off’s” photography extraordinaire Justin Mott. Back by popular demand and exclusively in the Philippines, Rick Harrison of “Pawnstars” will also join the stellar line up to reunite with fans in Manila, as well as all-time favorite Danielle Colby from “The Pickers” who will make her debut appearance in the capital.
To be held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City from August 10 to 13 History Con 2017—promoted by Viva Entertainment with tickets at www.smtickets.com—promises to be “bigger, better and bolder” with over 300 exhibitors’ displays to explore, three new world records to attempt, and a whole lot more.
The convention will also feature local talents such as Filipino personalities Phoemela Baranda and Gaby Dela Merced for “Celebrity Car Wars.”
History is also celebrating its 10th year anniversary in Asia and the network will celebrate the occasion by awarding 10 notable individuals who have made a significant impact in the country’s life and culture via the History Maker Awards.
