Service staff from Honda Cars Makati, Inc. (HCMI) dominated the 13th National Customer Service Skills Competition organized by Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI).

Competing against 32 dealerships nationwide, technicians, service advisors, and Preventive Maintenance (PM) Telemarketing specialists from Honda Cars Makati, Pasig, Alabang, Shaw, and Global City almost made a clean-sweep of the annual battle of technical skills and knowledge including customer handling practices.

21 finalists from HCMI displayed their proficiency in the Quick Pair, General Repair, and Team categories and emerged as champions in all three. Furthermore, the team also raked in the top five awards in the General Repair and Team categories and all three finalists of the Quick Pair category captured the champion, 2nd runner-up and 3rd runner-up slots.

The winners in the General Repair category are: Ruben Brogada, champion, Honda Cars Makati; Peejay Hosmillo, second place, Honda Cars Shaw; and Avelardo Kong, third place, Honda Cars Global City.

In the Team Category (Service Advisor and PM Telemarketing Specialist), the winners were: Noel Vanguardia and Jenny Sanchez, champion, Honda Cars Alabang; Emee Ramos and Misty Redovan, second place, Honda Cars Global City; and Raul Cacayurin and AJ Calderon, third place, Honda Cars Shaw.

For the Quick Pair Category, the winners are: Raymond Ranchez and Oliver Tiambeng, champion, Honda Cars Shaw; Samuel Aguila and Marlon Maninang, second place, Honda Cars Makati; and Joesph Villatito and Rex James Guianan, third place, Honda Cars Alabang.

To date, Ayala-owned HCMI takes pride in having five major international skills and knowledge awards from the Honda Asia Oceania Competition, 10 Body Repair and Paint awards, and 42 Mechanical Awards both in the NTC. Furthermore, the group also has nine gold awards, and five silver awards in Regional, National, and International Quality Circle contests that likewise reflect the company’s commitment to deliver the highest level of service quality.
