HONDA Cars Phils. Inc. (HCPI) announced it has added a new trim level to the Honda CR-V that’s called the Cruiser Edition, which is offered on the model’s 2.0 S and 2.4 SX variants that have automatic transmissions.
The specially trimmed CR-Vs are available only until August 31.
HCPI said the CR-V Cruiser Edition is equipped with a Kenwood entertainment system that features a six-inch touch-screen panel, DVD player and iPod/iPhone connectivity with video playback capacity. The functions come on top of the system’s basic radio, CD player and USB connectivity. The audio system can be controlled via buttons on the steering wheel.
Also, the Kenwood system comes with a built-in Garmin navigation with multi-route review and EcoRoute functions. The audio and navigation systems can be used simultaneously through a split-screen display.
HCPI said the Cruiser Edition “reinforces the CR-V’s efficient and functional characteristics.” The company added that the CR-V “combines the efficiency of a passenger car, the functionality of a minivan and the security and confidence provided by an SUV.”
HCPI prices the CR-V Cruiser Edition at P1.430 million in the 2.0 S A/T and P1.565 million in the 2.4 SX A/T. The company said the CR-V Cruiser Edition can be purchased for as low as P15,800 in monthly payments or through a P113,000 down payment.
