Honda’s best-ever scooter yet has been tagged to revolutionize scooter riding in the Philippines. The new-generation BeAT-FI eSP Series has been specially developed for the Philippine and Indonesian markets in 2015 and serves as the latest iteration to the BeAT scooter.
The BeAT has a bigger headlight with multi-reflectors for wider illumination and is equipped with an Automatic Headlight On system.
For safety, the BeAT is fitted with Honda’s advance braking technology called the Combined Brake System (CBS), which helps balance the front and rear wheel brakes for optimum braking efficiency.
It also has the Idling Stop System (ISS), Honda’s exclusive technology that automatically turns off the engine when stationary after three-seconds. The engine will automatically turn on once the gas lever is activated. This technology helps prevent fuel wastage.
The 110-cubic centimeter, 4-stroke, air-cooled, overhead cam engine has a maximum power output of 9 horsepower and 9 Newton-meters of torque. It delivers an enhanced fuel-efficiency of up to 63 kilometers per liter.
The BeAT also has a PGM-FI Fuel Injection system with electronic control technology that is capable of optimally supplying fuel and air, to give efficient engine power with low emissions.
Honda is offering the BeAT Scooter at P69,900.
Provincial launches of the Honda BeAT will take place in the different Mindanao provinces soon.
