Hong Kong stocks down 1.46% by break


HONG KONG: Hong Kong stocks lost 1.46 percent by the end of the morning session Friday owing to concerns over China’s economy and an expected end to the US Federal Reserve’s stimulus program.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index slid 298.07 points by the break to 20,084.80 on turnover of HK$44.72 billion (US$5.77 billion).
