• ‘Hot meat’ seized in QC


    SOME 20 kilos of goat ‘hot meat’ worth P6,000 were confiscated by Quezon City Veterinary Office in a surprise inspection on Tuesday morning in a makeshift stalls along Litex Road on Commonwealth Avenue. Dr. Ana Marie Cabel, Director of QC Veterinary Office, the said goat meat did not pass the sanitary inspection and sold along the sidewalks which are exposed to contamination. The QC Veterinary Office warned the public to make sure that the meat they buy have the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) seal and the vendors have inspection certificate.
