Howard overpowers short-handed Spurs

HOUSTON: Dwight Howard took advantage of some extra space to roam, scoring 32 points as the undefeated Houston Rockets trounced the short-handed San Antonio Spurs 98-81 on Thursday (Friday in Manila). Howard shot 12-of-18 from the field and eight-of-13 from the foul line for the Rockets, who have won all six of their contests by double digits. The only other team to accomplish that feat was the 1985-86 Nuggets.
