Filipino Treat Huey and British Dominic Inglot made it to the semifinals of the 2014 Aegon International being held in London, England.
Huey and Inglot ousted the No. 2 tandem of Leader Paes of India and Aisam Qureshi of Pakistan via an easy 6-4, 6-3 victory in their quarterfinal match.
The Filipino-British duo fired seven aces and won three of the five break point opportunities. They also had an 81 percent accuracy on first serve and 58 on second.
Huey and Inglot, who scored a first-round 6-3, 7-6 (4) win over British Jamie Murray and Australian John Peers, arranged a semifinal showdown with wild card British pair of Colin Fleming and Ross Hutchins.
Fleming and Hutchins stunned No. 4 Julian Knowle of Austria and Marcelo Melo of Brazil in the opening round (6-4, 6-4) and Pablo Cuevas of Uruguay and David Marrero of Spain in the semifinals (6-3, 6-4).
Huey and Inglot are revving up for the 2014 Wimbledon Championships beginning next week at the All-England Club also in London.
They reached the quarterfinals of the Australian Open in Melbourne in January and second round of the Roland Garros in Paris in May.
