HUMAN TRAFFICKING VICTIMS RESCUED IN TAWI-TAWI

POLICE rescued on Wednesday two young women allegedly victims of human trafficking in Barangay Kasanggayan in Bongao, Tawi-Tawi. Philippine National Police spokesperson Senior Supt. Wilben Mayor identified the victims as Perhaman Miri, 18, and Jemah Miri, 20, of Kalingalan, Sulu. Investigation showed that the two were recruited by a certain Alib Namli, who fled with eight other victims to Malaysia on Tuesday morning.
