HYUNDAI Asia Resources Inc. (Hari), distributor of Hyundai in the Philippines, announced it is the official mobility partner of the government in the Asean Finance Ministers’ Investor Seminar (AFMIS), to be held on May 20, and the 23rd World Economic Forum East Asia (WEF-EA) that’s scheduled on May 21 to 23.

Hari said Hyundai has been the official mobility partner in the 45th Asian Development Bank (ADB) Annual Meeting of Board of Governors in April 2012 where a fleet of Hyundai Grand Starex vans transported 4,000 delegates that included finance and economic ministers from 67 ADB member countries.

Hari said that for the AFMIS, 11 Hyundai Grand Santa Fe sport-utes will shuttle finance ministers of the 10 Asean member countries while 52 Grand Starexes will transport delegates to the WEF-EA.

“We are more than thrilled to contribute in our small way to the critical decision-making that will take place as the Philippines takes center stage for WEF-EA 2014,” said Hari President and Chief Executive Officer Fe Perez-Agudo. “Having the movers and shakers in global finance and business scene experience up-close the premium features of our two powerhouse vehicles, the Grand Santa Fe and the Grand Starex, is already a remarkable step for the brand.”
