PHILIPPINE distributor Hyundai Asia Resources Inc. (Hari) and Lateral Drift Productions Inc. have announced the opening of the 2014 Hyundai Lateral Drift Pro-Am Championship Series. The two companies said they are celebrating the second year of their “high-energy partnership to drive greater awareness and create a bigger fanbase for drifting in the country.”
Hari said that motor sports fans can see six rounds of sideways drift action, which started with a night event on May 31 at a Quezon City venue, and will run until November 22. The races feature the official drift car, the Hyundai Genesis Coupe.
