HYUNDAI Asia Resources Inc. (Hari), distributor of Hyundai vehicles in the Philippines, said it experienced a 19-percent growth in March as it sold 2,030 units for the month, compared to its February figures of 1,710 units. Hari said its gains in March pushed its three-month sales to grow 1 percent to 5,983 units against last year’s first-quarter sales of 5,951 units.

Hyundai’s month-on-month strong performance was buoyed by both the Passenger Car (PC) and Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) segments, according to Hari. It added that leading the overall charge was the PC segment with March sales of 1,393 units and year-to-date sales of 4,004 units, translating to increases of 20 percent and 18 percent.
