PIAA to introduce LED lighting technology

PIAA Corporation of Japan, the world’s authority in driving lights, recently announced its expansion plans for the domestic market. In a news conference held at the PIAA office in San Juan City (Metro Manila), Hidemi Miyoshi, general manager for New Business Development/Global Business of PIAA Japan, revealed that they are set to introduce the latest in driving lights technology to the local market.

“PIAA LED light bars are different from every other light bar out there. The RF Series feature Reflector Facing Technology (RFT) that concentrates and focuses beam pattern of the reflector-facing LED bulbs more precisely than forward-facing LED lights. This allows for a true, controlled beam pattern, along with more light output per watt versus the competition,” explained Miyoshi.

PIAA wanted to perfect LED lighting when it designed reflector-facing bulbs and new “first-in-the-industry” reflector technology. The innovative design offers significantly improved lighting and beam control compared to conventional LED and halogen lamps with forward-facing bulbs. PIAA lamps put the light were you need them most: on the road. The result is greater visibility for drivers.

Both the RF Series and LP Series of PIAA LED lamps provide brilliant illumination, but with lower power consumption than conventional LED and halogen lamps. They light the road with bright white color that is clearly visible to oncoming traffic, providing an added measure of driving safety. The lamps are compact and durable, with the cast aluminum housings and polycarbonate lenses to withstand the harshest conditions. It is a standard fit for most trucks, SUVs and even sedans.
