Ice, ice baby!

Showbizlandia joins worldwide ALS Challenge for a cause

Facebook and Instagram went freezing cold this past week as many of the most famous faces in Philippine showbiz joined the worldwide movement to raise awareness on amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), the motor neuron disease often referred to as “Lou Gehrig’s disease.”

Known as the “Ice Bucket Challenge,” anyone who chooses to either pour ice-cold water over their head or donate $100 to the cause is entitled to challenge three or more friends to do the same. And of course, as soon as the dare made it to one celebrity, the challenge quickly made the rounds of the networks and talent management groups. But thankfully, the game artistas mostly chose to do both for the ALS challenge—that is pour the bucket over their heads and donate the hundred dollars anyway.

You would too if you looked this good soaking wet!
