Iconic ‘501’ jeans get a revamp

Global denim brand Levi’s, introduced the newest customized and tapered version of its most iconic style, the “501.”

Dubbed the 501 CT, this newest icon was revealed last February 11 at Valkyrie at The Palace in Bonifacio Global City. Firing up the night was Grammy-nominated singer and composer Bright Lights.

Celebrities, media friends, and influencers from fashion, music, art and other industry leaders were also spotted sporting their pair of 501 to suit their different styles.

The Levi’s 501 Jean, the world’s first-ever blue jean featuring a timeless straight leg, relaxed fit and signature button fly, has earned its status as the most coveted jeans in the world. Patched, repaired, shredded and tapered, the original Levi’s 501 jeans have become a style staple and indisputably the most important piece of clothing. However, like all good classics, Levi’s decided it was time for an update for a fresh, new look.

Tapering the 501 has long been the most requested alternation at Levi’s by people seeking the classic style with a modern fit. But now the denim brand has done the legwork for you by crafting the perfectly tapered 501 jeans.

Moreover, the reinvented CT can be customized for three different types of fits: down-sized for a slim style, true-to-size for a classic look, and up-sized for a roomier, relaxed fit. It comes in an assortment of different washes, from classics, such as the Indigo Rigid, to new favorites, like White Light.

With varying levels of fade and distress, and the ability to be worn high or low on the hips, each pair of the 501 CT Jeans can be styled in number of ways. A revamp of the most classic pair of jeans, you can now fashion your own personalized look.
