The International Container Terminal Services Inc. has signed a contract to design, construct, operate, maintain and finance the Port of Melbourne’s new international container terminal and empty container park at Webb Dock.

Investment in the full development of the Webb Dock Container Terminal and the ECP is estimated at about AUD$550 million and forms part of the Port of Melbourne’s AUD$1.6 billion Port Capacity Project, the company said. The new facility will create about 200 new jobs at the port.
