AUTHORITIES recovered pieces of lumber during an operation on Monday in a remote village in Camarines Sur, police reports said on Tuesday. The logs were discovered by police and environmental personnel at Comaguingking village in Calabanga town. Provincial police director Senior Supt. Primo Golingay said in the report that 37 pieces of lumber were left by a group of still unidentified men. The logs were turned over to the City Environmental Resource Office. Police are now conducting an investigation to determine the identity of the persons that owned the logs and the species of the recovered lumbers, the reports said.
