GOVERNMENT troops on Monday recovered 2,500 board feet of dipterocarp species in a remote village in Zamboanga Sibugay. Reports at Camp Crame said the illegally-cut logs were intercepted by joint troops of the Regional Public Safety Battalion and the Community Environment Natural Resources Office (CENRO) headed by Diomedes Pablo at about 2:15 p.m. along the highway at Sitio Sacaon, Barangay Guinoman in Diplahan town. The anti-illegal logging operation was supervised by forestry specialist George Laolao and the logs were turned over to CENRO-Buug.
