ILLEGAL LUMBERS CONFISCATED IN ISABELA

ILAGAN CITY: An anti-illegal logging task force on Thursday confiscated 8,000 board feet of illegal lumbers in Benito Soliven and San Mariano towns in Isabela province. The Isabela Environment Protection Task Force (IEPTF) consisting police, army and the provincial environment and natural resources office said the lumbers were found abandoned in Ilingan, Benito Soliven and Tappa, San Mariano. IEPTF Vice Chairman Amethyst Costales said the lumbers are now at the capitol gymnasium for safekeeping.
