Iloilo City Council authorizes mayor to negotiate P360-M loan


ILOILO CITY: The city council here unanimously approved a resolution authorizing Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog to negotiate a bank loan in behalf of the city government. The P360-million loan application with Land Bank of the Philippines would be used to construct eight four-storey school buildings that would accommodate 11,000 senior high school students next school year. City councilor Jason Gonzales, City Council committee on education chairman, said the bank loan will be charged against the general fund of the city.
