Iloilo City drivers hurl graft charges at LTFRB official

ILOILO CITY: Two officials of the Iloilo City Loop Alliance of Jeepney Operators and Drivers Associations (Iclajoda) are accusing Regional Director Romulo Bernades of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) of “grave and serious offense involving graft and corrupt practices, bribery, extortion” among other offenses.

However, Bernardes denied the accusations of the city loop jeepney operators and drivers and said the charges are the handiwork of a former LTFRB official also involved in bribery in the past.
